HERNAN MANCEBO MARTINEZ

Hernán was born in Granada (Spain,1990 ). He began his career of movement in martial arts (KungFu), after years of practice and learning he became a Kung Fu teacher. After 6 years in Martial Arts he began his career as a contemporary dancer at the “Reina Sofia Conservatory of Granada.” Two years later due to artistic interest in the Belgian scene, he entered the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp.

After finishing school he worked with Renan Martins, Agostina D’Alessandro, Tuur Marinus, Iris Bouche, Opéra Ballet Flanders, De Spiegel , NatGras and others.

Notable among his creative works are "Physical Proof," a piece he co-created with Rino Sokol, which was selected and performed at "TAZ 19." Additionally, he collaborated with Samuel Baidoo to create "wijtwee//nosotrosdos" for the company "NatGras."

Currently, Hernán works as a freelance dancer, collaborating with different choreographers, and he is in the process of creating his second piece with Rino Sokol. In addition to his career as a dancer, Hernán shares his expertise by teaching Contemporary Dance, Kung Fu, and various training based on "The movement culture."
