EMILIE MEEUS

Emilie Meeus

Emilie, born in Antwerp in 2000, developed her passion for dance at a very young age. She joined the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp at the age of ten and continued her dance studies at de!Kunsthumaniora Antwerpen.

During these years, she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Anton Lachky, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Roberto Olivan. In 2017, she joined the Junior Ballet of Geneva, where she performed pieces by Olivier Dubois, Hofesh Shechter, Barak Marshal, Alexander Ekman, Maguy Marin, and Rachid Ouramdane.

She then joined the Ballet de Lorraine in 2019, where she spent three seasons under the direction of Petter Jacobsson, dancing pieces by Merce Cunningham, Trisha Brown, Maud Lepladec, Loic Touzé, and Latifa Laâbissi. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Geneva Grand Theatre Ballet.
