Loïs Martens started dancing at a young age in dance studio arabesque. At the age of twelve, she was accepted at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp.
During her school career, she had the opportunity to participate in several competitions. She won gold in Concourse International de Danse Biarritz and the title for upcoming talent, as well as gold and the prize for best own choreography in the International Ballet Competition Vienna.
In 2017 right after graduating Loïs was allowed to join the junior company of Ballett Dortmund, where she worked together with choreographers such as Raimondo Rebeck , Craig Davidson, Xenia Wiest, Demis Volpi, Junjo Arques. The highlight for her was when she got the chance to dance the role of Alice in Alice in wonderland by Mauro Bigonzetti in 2018. In the past two years, Loïs also obtained her yoga teacher certificate and focusses mainly on choreography and freelance projects.
